Cruz Roja Bogotá se suma a las labores de atención de incendios forestales brindando #ApoyoAlApoyo

Ante los recientes incendios forestales que afectan a varios sectores del departamento de Cundinamarca, la Cruz Roja Colombiana Seccional Cundinamarca y Bogotá (CRCSCB) ha desplegado acciones de #ApoyoAlApoyo en varios lugares en donde se desarrollan las emergencias, para brindar distintos tipos de asistencia al personal de bomberos y otras instituciones que trabajan para extinguir el fuego.
Esta labor se ha realizado articuladamente entre la Institución y sus Grupos de Apoyo Municipales, con la Unidad Administrativa Especial para la Gestión de Riesgo de Desastres (UAEGRD) y las demás entidades del Sistema Departamental de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres, lo que permite garantizar no solo el control rápido de las emergencias, sino el bienestar y salud de todos aquellos que trabajan para extinguir el fuego.
#ApoyoAlApoyo en Cundinamarca
Durante los últimos días, la CRCSCB ha activado Unidades Móviles de Respuesta Voluntaria en los siguientes municipios.
En Villeta, un incendio afectó varias hectáreas de la vereda Chapaima, voluntarios del Grupo de Apoyo de Villeta acudieron para entregar hidratación y tapabocas al Cuerpo de Bomberos de este municipio que finalmente logró controlar la situación.
En las veredas La Esmeralda y Quindindua, en Tocancipá, las llamas afectaron, durante cuatro días, 7 hectáreas de vegetación, por lo que voluntarios del Grupo de Apoyo Municipal acudieron para entregar hidratación y brindar primeros auxilios básicos al personal de Bomberos que logró liquidar el incendio el jueves 19 de septiembre.
El sector de San Mateo, en Soacha, se vio afectado por un incendio forestal controlado por el Cuerpo de Bomberos del Municipio. Durante la atención, voluntarios del Grupo de Apoyo Municipal acudieron para entregar hidratación y brindar primeros auxilios básicos a los bomberos afectados por el humo y las llamas.
Continúa activo el incendio en la vereda Barro Blanco, del municipio de Madrid, en límites entre Bojacá y Mosquera. Allí, el Grupo de Apoyo de Facatativá y unidades de Bogotá, han estado y continúan presentes entregando hidratación y prestando primeros auxilios básicos a quienes controlan la situación, entre ellos Bomberos, Defensa Civil, Gestión del Riesgo, el Ejército Nacional y la Policía.
En el municipio de Villa Gómez, un incendio afecta, desde el 16 de septiembre, a un sector de la vereda Cerro Azul. Hasta allí han llegado voluntarios del Grupo de Apoyo de Pacho para ofrecer hidratación, tapabocas, primeros auxilios, seguridad operacional y apoyo logístico al personal de la Defensa Civil y la Alcaldía que, hasta este viernes, continúa trabajando para extinguir el fuego.
Recolección de donaciones
Las altas temperaturas en algunas zonas, la sequía y las acciones humanas intensifican la vulnerabilidad de los ecosistemas a estos incendios, por lo que se requiere el apoyo de las personas, empresas e instituciones de gran corazón a que se vinculen a la campaña #TuAyudaSuma, a través de la cual la CRCSCB busca recolectar donaciones que les permitan continuar brindando apoyo a los Bomberos, Defensa Civil y otros organismos que combaten las llamas cuerpo a cuerpo.
